How To Install Club Car Precedent Brake Light Switch

I removed the floor mat and floor board and found that the brake light switch was not connected. I connected it and brake lights now work. I have head light, tail lights and brake lights. The turn signals and flasher don't work. This light kit looks like the precedent ultimate light kits you see on the web. Any ideas will be. I have a 2013 Club Car precedent that just recently started a problem where the brake lights are to staying on. I 'think' that previously they would stay on for a short time after stopping and setting the hill brake but now they won't turn off unless I kill the ignition switch.
I bought the cart used and it came with the lights installed already so I am not sure if they were an after market of factory installation ...or how to tell for that matter.
I looked (without removing any covers) for a brake light switch but cannot see one. Not sure if I am looking for a small switch behind the pedal or if I need to remove the cover from the brake workings in the floor board (or something else). I've looked online for brake light switches for the cart and don't see one. Any help in troubleshooting appreciated!

Club Car Precedent Troubleshooting

I just purchased a 2004 Precedent and the brake light were not working. This is my first Precedent (I have several DS models) and the wiring for the brake switch is completely different from the DS. Since the brake light bulbs were good I bought a new switch (not a Club Car part) and it required some modifications and fab work to install. This cart has 4 12volt batteries.
My question is that I have turn signals and a horn and the wiring for the brake light switch has a three wire harness with one each red, black and tan wires. I am getting 0.0 volts on the black wire (I assumed it to be ground) when tested on the first battery, but 35.9 volts on another battery., 0.0 volts on the red wire (which assumed to be hot) and 0.0 volts on the tan wire, but 28.1 volts when tested to another battery. Upon further investigation I can not find any wiring going to a battery (that I have not confirmed goes somewhere else).
My questions is that since I can not find where these wires are getting power, I am going to rewire the brake light switch and I know red to power and black to ground, but where does the tan wire go, I need this for the timer.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me.
